Authentic Traditional Chinese Medicine at a Grade-A hospital TCM department in Guangzhou — six programs with transparent USD pricing, guided in English.

What This Is

A hospital-level TCM experience (not a spa). Every program starts with a physician consultation — including traditional tongue and pulse assessment — so the session is tailored to you. Prices below are complete for the program described: no clinic-side add-on fees. Anything optional (such as herbal prescriptions) is shown to you with prices before you decide.

Choose Your Program

  • Thread-Embedding Weight Program — Starter ($100) — 1 physician consultation + acupoint thread embedding. Absorbable protein threads are placed at selected acupoints, a traditional method used in TCM weight-management programs to provide sustained acupoint stimulation. No crash dieting involved.
  • Thread-Embedding Weight Program — Extended ($149) — the same protocol with 2 physician consultations for closer follow-up.
  • Weight & Metabolism Reset ($149) — acupuncture + navel moxibustion + cupping in one session, plus a personalised nutrition and lifestyle plan from the physician.
  • Facial Gua Sha + Herbal Steam ($100) — gentle facial gua sha along the meridians with a herbal steam treatment. In TCM, facial complexion is read as a reflection of overall qi and blood; this is a non-invasive, relaxation-focused session.
  • Five-Organ TCM Facial Rejuvenation ($100) — a needle-based facial program rooted in the TCM view that skin condition reflects the internal organs. Typically suggested as weekly sessions, 5–10 per course; the single session here is the way to experience it first.
  • Hair & Scalp Revitalization ($100) — head-meridian gua sha with herbal steam (about 20 minutes), a traditional protocol for scalp circulation and relaxation, commonly chosen by people concerned about hair shedding.

Who These Programs Suit

The weight programs are traditionally offered to people managing excess weight or metabolic concerns; the facial and scalp programs to people with skin dullness, fatigue-related complexion concerns, or hair-shedding worries. Your physician confirms suitability at the consultation — and will say so if a program isn't right for you.

Who Should Not Book

  • Pregnancy
  • Severe heart conditions or bleeding disorders / blood-thinning medication
  • Broken, allergic or inflamed skin in the treatment area
  • Strong fear of needles (tell us — needle-free programs can be arranged instead)

Good To Know

  • TCM therapies are traditional wellness practices. Sessions are not a substitute for medical diagnosis or treatment, and no specific health or cosmetic outcome is promised — individual responses vary.
  • Cupping and gua sha can leave temporary marks that fade within days.
  • Sessions take place at a public-facing hospital TCM department in Guangzhou; venue details are confirmed after booking.
  • Thinking longer-term? Physicians traditionally suggest courses (for example weekly sessions, 5–10 per course) — see our TCM Treatment Courses when they open for booking.

How Booking Works

  1. Order your preferred program online — this reserves your appointment.
  2. We confirm your date and send preparation notes within 24 hours (working days).
  3. Attend your session — an English-speaking coordinator can accompany you on request. If the physician finds a program unsuitable for you, that item is fully refundable.
