Traditional Chinese Medicine

Pair your checkup with hospital-level TCM.

Guangzhou is where our Traditional Chinese Medicine programs run deepest. The TCM Wellness Experience offers six programs from $100 — acupuncture, cupping, gua sha and more — at a Grade-A hospital TCM department, not a spa. Every program starts with a physician consultation, including traditional tongue and pulse assessment, and is guided in English with transparent USD pricing.

Prefer a named expert? TCM specialist consultations in Guangzhou start at $29.90, up to senior-specialist appointments at $120 — an easy add-on to a checkup morning.

Getting there

Getting to Guangzhou.

Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport changed shape in 2026, and older directions are now out of date. Terminal 1 ceased operations in May 2026, and access to the Airport South metro station that served it has been suspended. For Terminal 3, the current routing published by the Guangzhou government is to take Metro Line 3 or Line 9 to Gaozeng station, leave by Exit B, and transfer to the dedicated airport shuttle to the T3 transport hub — a connection of roughly 15 minutes, with shuttles every five minutes at peak and services running from Gaozeng to T3 between 06:15 and 23:15. Each terminal also has its own intercity railway station: Baiyun Airport South (T1), Baiyun Airport North (T2) and Baiyun Airport East (T3). Check which terminal your airline now uses before you plan the metro leg.
