Why Beijing

Why do your checkup in Beijing?

Beijing holds the densest concentration of top-tier (Grade 3A) hospitals in China — including Peking Union Medical College Hospital, the country's #1-ranked hospital. For international visitors it is one of the easiest cities to reach, with two major international airports and direct long-haul routes from North America, Europe and Australia.

Our standard Beijing packages run at tertiary partner hospitals across the city — our first international checkup patients were hosted at Civil Aviation General Hospital, a tertiary public hospital in central Beijing. For premium screening, Peking Union Medical College Hospital (PUMCH) — China’s #1-ranked hospital on the Fudan Ranking for 14 consecutive years — is available: see the dedicated Peking Union checkup page, including an honest comparison with the standard packages.

Getting there

Getting to Beijing.

Beijing has two international airports and a dedicated express rail line to each, which is the main thing to get right when booking. The Beijing municipal government describes the Daxing Airport Express as China's first fully automatic rail transit line, designed for 160 km/h. The Capital Airport Express serves the older Capital International Airport and has been extended westwards from Dongzhimen to Beixinqiao, with a Wangjing South station planned to allow transfers to Subway Line 14. Which airport you fly into changes your route into the city completely — the two express lines do not connect to each other — so confirm the airport code on your ticket (PEK or PKX) before booking a hotel or a morning appointment slot.
