Straight Answers On Price
A single IPS e.max veneer here is $370; a full set of 16 (upper and lower 8) is $3,699. Every price on this page is the treatment fee in USD, confirmed in writing before you travel. These prices apply to treatment in Beijing and Shanghai — other Chinese cities are quoted separately. Many clinics in Australia, the UK and the US also offer IPS e.max veneers — we simply publish our prices so you can compare for yourself.
About The Materials
IPS e.max is a lithium-disilicate ceramic made by Ivoclar. Clinics worldwide, including our partner clinic, source it from the same manufacturer. The final result also depends on the dental laboratory and the clinician — which is why the tiers below are defined by fabrication process, not just material.
Choose Your Material
- IPS e.max (Lithium Disilicate) — the world's most widely used pressed-ceramic veneer. $370/tooth · $3,699 full set.
- Dentsply Ceramic — premium pressed ceramic from Dentsply. $430/tooth · $4,299 full set.
- VITA Ceramic (High-Translucency) — VITA's high-translucency aesthetic ceramic. $590/tooth · $5,899 full set.
- Semi-Handcrafted Layered Porcelain — technician-layered surfaces over a pressed core for more individual optical depth. $900/tooth · $8,999 full set.
- Fully Handcrafted Porcelain — every layer built by a master technician. $1,700/tooth · $17,399 full set.
- Signature Custom Pressed Porcelain — top-line custom aesthetic work. $2,499/tooth · $24,999 full set.
- Signature Handcrafted Porcelain — full-set signature program. $19,699 full set.
The prices listed above apply to treatment in Beijing and Shanghai. If you would like treatment in another Chinese city, contact us and we will quote it separately.
What "Full Set" Means
A full set covers 16 teeth — upper 8 and lower 8 (the teeth visible when you smile). If you need fewer, choose Per Tooth and tell us how many in the notes; your written plan will state the exact count and total before you travel.
Timeline: About 7 Days In China
- Free remote assessment — send photos and your goals; a treatment coordinator confirms preliminary suitability and a written quote.
- Day 1–2: consultation, smile design and tooth preparation — impressions go to the dental lab.
- Lab fabrication and try-in — your veneers are pressed or hand-layered, then checked on your teeth for fit, shade and bite.
- Around day 7: bonding — final placement and polish. Preparation-to-bonding is about 7 days for most cases. Your personal schedule is confirmed after assessment; cases needing additional dental work or extra try-ins take longer.
Who Veneers Suit — And Who They Don't
Veneers involve removing a thin layer of enamel and are not reversible. They suit discoloration, small gaps, chips and shape corrections on otherwise healthy teeth. Significant crowding or bite problems are usually better treated with orthodontics first — if that's you, we'll say so at the assessment stage rather than sell you veneers.
Your Quote Is Confirmed Before You Travel
The written quote you confirm covers your agreed treatment plan. If your in-person examination shows additional treatment is needed first (for example, treating decay or gum disease before bonding), we will discuss and re-confirm any cost changes with you before work begins.
FAQ
How long do porcelain veneers last? Porcelain veneers are a long-lasting restoration with normal care. How long yours last depends on your bite, habits and oral hygiene — no fixed lifespan can be guaranteed.
Can I do only 6 or 8 teeth? Yes — choose Per Tooth. Many patients veneer only the upper front teeth.
What if a veneer chips later? A chipped veneer can usually be replaced individually without redoing the set. Replacement is carried out at our partner clinic in China — we confirm what your plan covers before treatment.
Veneers or crowns? Veneers preserve far more natural tooth and are the aesthetic-first option; crowns are for structurally compromised teeth. The assessment will tell you which applies.
Risks, Aftercare and Where Treatment Happens
Like any dental treatment, veneers carry risks, including temporary sensitivity, debonding, and — rarely — the need for further treatment such as root canal therapy. We discuss these with you before treatment. If an issue arises after you return home, contact us first: warranty repairs are performed at our partner clinic in China; care you choose to receive locally is at your own cost unless otherwise agreed.
Treatment is provided in China by dentists licensed in China. Our clinicians are not registered with AHPRA (Australia), the GDC (UK), or US state dental boards. All prices are in US dollars (USD) and do not include flights, accommodation, or any follow-up care in your home country.
Online purchase reserves your treatment slot. Clinical suitability is confirmed by examination and X-ray on arrival; if a procedure is not suitable for you, that item is fully refundable.
Start with the free remote assessment — a preliminary review of the photos you send, at no charge and with no obligation. It is not a diagnosis: your treatment plan and final suitability are confirmed by an in-person examination in China. Or contact us with your questions.
