MRI Add-On (Per Body Part) — China
MRI Add-On (Per Body Part) — China
Couldn't load pickup availability
Add an MRI scan to your health checkup or as a standalone imaging study in mainland China.
What's included (per body part)
- Appointment booking at a partnered hospital
- Pre-scan check-in support
- Full report translation (Chinese → English)
Not included: an English-speaking companion at the hospital. You can add one for US$50 per half day (4 hours) when booked with a checkup package, or US$100 per half day on its own. If your booking already includes a companion (whole-body MRI, whole-body PET-CT or GI endoscopy packages), tell us before adding one. If you are adding a region to a whole-body MRI package, the companion included with that package is with you for the whole visit.
Body parts available
Head (MRI plain + DWI / MRA cerebral arteries) · Cervical spine (plain) · Thoracic spine · Lumbar spine · Pelvis (plain + DWI) · Upper abdomen (plain + DWI) · Lower abdomen (excl. pelvis) · Kidneys · Prostate (plain + DWI) · Bilateral hip / knee / ankle / shoulder · Cardiac and great vessels · Sinus / Nasopharynx / Pituitary · Bladder · And more.
If you need multiple body parts, add the quantity in cart — each unit covers one body part.
Hardware tier
Standard tier-3 hospital MRI scanners are 1.5T or 3T from Siemens / GE / Philips / United Imaging. Specify a preferred tesla strength at booking if your clinical question requires 3T (e.g., subtle MS lesions, prostate MRI (plain + DWI), fine MSK).
Turnaround
The hospital releases its radiology report first; allow 1–3 weeks for the complete English-translated report. We do not promise same-day reports.
🩺 Before Your Scan — Preparation Instructions
- This add-on is a plain (non-contrast) MRI by default. Most regions need no special preparation, but upper-abdomen scans usually need several hours without food (water is usually fine) and pelvis scans may need a moderately full bladder. Requirements differ by hospital — your coordinator confirms the exact instructions for your appointment.
- Metal & safety screening (critical): tell us before booking if you have a pacemaker or defibrillator, cochlear implant, aneurysm clips, vascular coils/stents, metal implants/prostheses, dental implants or magnetic denture attachments, eye implants, an IUD, or metal fragments in the body. Remove all metal on the day; contact-lens wearers should bring regular glasses. Tell us if you are claustrophobic or may be pregnant.
- If an enhanced (contrast) MRI is clinically needed, we will confirm it with you before the scan, including any extra cost. It uses gadolinium contrast, and we will check for any allergy or kidney problems (a recent creatinine/eGFR test may be required). Sedated or contrast-enhanced scans may need extra preparation — we'll tell you.
These are general guidelines. Your SinoCareLink coordinator will confirm the exact instructions for your appointment based on your health profile and the hospital’s requirements.
