What's Included

Before the visit: appointment confirmation, pre-visit checklist (WhatsApp / WeChat / email), clinician coordination.

At the hospital: meet at entrance or hotel lobby, registration / queue / payment / QR check-in support, full in-consultation interpretation, prescription and next-step clarification, help collecting printed reports and receipts.

After the visit: plain-English summary of the doctor's findings, prescription-filling guidance, receipts organized for insurance, WhatsApp / WeChat follow-up within 24 hours.

Who Are Our Companions?

Professional bilingual support staff fluent in English or Japanese and native-level Mandarin, experienced in Tier-1 Grade 3A hospitals and international department (国际部) workflows, with strict confidentiality training.

Important: Our Medical Companions are trained support professionals, not licensed medical interpreters or healthcare providers. We facilitate clear communication — we do not give medical advice.

Scope of Service & What Your Companion Does Not Do

Our companion provides full in-hospital accompaniment, bilingual interpretation, and help with hospital errands (registration, queuing, payment, collecting reports). To set clear expectations, please note your companion does not:

• Provide any medical act — no diagnosis, prescriptions, treatment advice, or judgement on how serious a condition is; and never signs medical documents (consent or risk forms) on your behalf. These must be signed by you or your legal guardian.
• Advance or guarantee payments — does not pay deposits, medical fees, or drug costs on your behalf, and is not responsible for hospital pricing, billing disputes, or insurance/reimbursement outcomes.
• Guarantee hospital outcomes — cannot guarantee a specific specialist slot, a bed, or appointment timing, and is not responsible for hospital scheduling, closures, or rescheduling.
• Take responsibility for treatment results — not liable for treatment effectiveness, surgical outcomes, or medication side effects.
• Hold your valuables — does not keep passports, cash, or valuables on your behalf.
• Replace emergency care — in a medical emergency the companion will immediately call medical staff and contact your family, but does not perform first aid or assume medical liability.

All records, reports, and personal documents are kept strictly confidential. Where a service cannot be completed due to circumstances beyond our control (hospital closure, no available slots, equipment failure, policy or customs changes), the companion will help reschedule or arrange a pro-rata refund.
