What we arrange
Comprehensive health screening
A full screening — bloods, imaging, physical assessment and the associated consultations — is a half-day on site, usually starting early and fasting. Because it takes half a day, it can usually be fitted around a week-long event schedule.

Diagnostic imaging
MRI, CT and ultrasound, arranged as standalone studies or as part of a screening. Each scan is priced on its own product page.
Dental
The category that fits a short trip best, because much of it is genuinely single-visit:

English coordination
We coordinate the appointment and produce your documentation in English; an English-speaking companion who attends with you and handles registration can be added (US$50 per half day with a checkup package, US$100 on its own; already included in our whole-body MRI packages).
Report reconstruction in English
Your report is rebuilt in English faithfully — every value, unit and finding, in the original structure — so that your own doctor can act on it. This matters more than most visitors expect; a machine-translated Chinese medical report is frequently not clinically usable at home.

Booking speed
Tell us your dates when you enquire. For hospital appointments, priority appointment booking ($69.90 per appointment) gives your booking priority processing — subject to hospital availability; a specific date can't be guaranteed. The fee covers coordination and scheduling only; it does not change the clinical service.
During APEC week the city is unusually busy. Book early — short notice is a fallback, not a plan.
On same-day reports
We do not issue same-day reports, and we would treat that offer with caution from any provider.
A screening produces results in stages. Some bloods come back quickly; imaging has to be read by a radiologist; pathology, where it applies, takes longer again. Assembling that into a complete report — and reconstructing it in clinically usable English — takes 2 to 3 weeks.
In practice this means you will be home before your report is. That is how the timeline genuinely works. If something urgent is found, you hear about it immediately.
Why during APEC week
The 33rd APEC Economic Leaders' Meeting runs 18–19 November 2026 in Shenzhen. But the Leaders' Meeting is two days inside a much longer cluster — the APEC CEO Summit, the joint ministerial meeting of foreign and trade ministers, and the delegation and bilateral programming around them. Most business attendees are in the city for the better part of a week.
Which is why this works. A half-day screening does not fit a two-day trip. It fits a six-day one comfortably.
Three practical notes:
- Book before you arrive. Appointment dates depend on availability, and a summit week is not when to leave it late.
- Tell us what might move. Delegation schedules shift. We would rather build around that than rebook you twice.
- Expect road closures and heavy traffic around whichever areas the organisers designate. We factor transport into the timing.
We do not name the summit venue on this page. As of August 2026 no official source has confirmed one — several travel aggregators have published a location, but Shenzhen municipal releases and APEC's own materials name the city, not a building.
Insurance and payment
Insurance. Whether your policy covers treatment in mainland China depends on the policy. Some international plans operate direct billing arrangements with specific facilities; many reimburse against documentation instead. Tell us your insurer when you enquire and we will tell you what we can confirm and what you need to check directly with them.
Two things to sort before you travel: whether pre-authorisation is required, and exactly what documentation your insurer needs. Assembling the paperwork at the time of treatment is straightforward; reconstructing it afterwards is not.
Payment. International cards are accepted at the facilities we work with. Confirm the method when you book.
What we will not do
We would rather lose the booking than mislead you, so, plainly:
- We will not promise you a same-day report. Reports take 2–3 weeks.
- We will not tell you one hospital is better than another. We can tell you what we are able to arrange and where; we do not publish clinical rankings or comparisons between institutions.
- We will not compress a treatment that should not be compressed. Implants take about four months. Anything with a recovery period needs to be discussed against your flight, before booking rather than after.
- We will not advise you on your visa eligibility. Check with the Chinese embassy or consulate for your country, or your airline.

No. A full screening report requires imaging to be read and, where relevant, pathology to be processed. Any provider offering same-day results is describing something narrower than a complete report.
Will the appointment be in English?
