Canton Fair 2026 Schedule: Where a Health Checkup Fits Between Phases (Oct 15 – Nov 4)
Share
Updated for the 140th Canton Fair (autumn 2026). If you are coming to Guangzhou for the Fair, a health checkup can fit into one free morning of the trip you have already planned. This guide covers the official Fair dates, where a checkup fits, the published Guangzhou package prices, and what is and is not included.
SinoCareLink is a medical coordination service. We book and coordinate your appointment; the screening itself is carried out by the hospital and its licensed physicians.
For everything we arrange for Fair visitors — checkups and dental appointments — see our Canton Fair medical services page.

Where a checkup fits in a Fair trip
A checkup is a morning appointment and you arrive fasting. The Essential packages take about three hours and you are usually done by lunchtime; the Premium packages include more tests and take around four to five hours — check in at about 8 am and you are usually finished by 1 pm. Either way, the afternoon stays free for meetings or the Fair itself.
Going by the official dates, the days between phases are October 20–22 (between Phases 1 and 2) and October 28–30 (between Phases 2 and 3). If you are attending one phase, the morning before it opens or the morning after it closes also works.
The hospital confirms the appointment date, and a specific date cannot be guaranteed — so send us your Fair dates and two or three preferred mornings as early as you can.
Guangzhou checkup packages and published prices
| Package | Price (Guangzhou) |

| Men's Essential | US$399 |
| Women's Essential | US$499 |
| Men's Premium | US$599 |
| Women's Premium | US$699 |

Each package is described on the package page. If you book through the intake form, the itemised test list comes with your written quote before you pay; if you buy directly on the package page, we send it straight after purchase. For a city overview, see our Guangzhou health checkup guide.
What the price includes — and what it does not
Included: the screening panel for your package, and your results as an English report. We do not promise same-day reports; the full English report follows in two to three weeks — you do not need to stay in Guangzhou for it.
Not included:
- An English-speaking medical companion at the hospital. This is an add-on: US$50 per half day (4 hours) when booked with a checkup package, or US$100 per half day on its own; book it at least 24 hours before it starts. Packages that include sedated endoscopy already include a companion. See medical companion.
- Additional tests beyond your package, which are quoted separately and confirmed in writing before they are done.
- Flights, hotel and local transport.
Booking, your written quote and your reports are handled in English; for the hospital visit itself, an English-speaking medical companion can be added.
How to book around your Fair schedule
- Fill in the screening intake, and in the notes tell us your Fair phase, your hotel area and the mornings you have free.
- We confirm the hospital, the exact test panel and your written quote before you pay.
- Once you approve, we request the date with the hospital, confirm it with you in writing, and tell you where and when to arrive.
- On the morning, arrive fasting with your passport and a list of any medication you take.
Entry requirements depend on your nationality. Our China visa guide keeps track of the current rules.
Also in Guangzhou: dental appointments
If you are also considering dental work, the same trip can include it. Through our partner clinic in Guangzhou we arrange professional teeth cleaning (from US$69) and IPS e.max porcelain veneers (US$499 per tooth; clinic consultation and imaging fees, where the clinic charges them, are extra). Veneers remove a thin layer of enamel and cannot be reversed, so the dentist confirms whether they suit you — and how many teeth — at your first in-clinic consultation, after examination and imaging. Mention dentistry in the notes on the intake form and tell us your Fair dates — we will check with the clinic how many appointments your case is likely to need before you book anything.
