Frequently asked questions
When should men start heart screening?
A cardiovascular workup (ECG, echocardiogram, and often a coronary artery calcium score) is commonly recommended from around age 40, or earlier with risk factors such as family history, smoking, high blood pressure or diabetes.
Do I need a PSA test?
Prostate (PSA) screening is a shared decision usually discussed from age 50 (earlier with family history). We include a physician discussion rather than reflexive testing, in line with USPSTF guidance.
Is the colonoscopy sedated?
Yes — our GI/colorectal screening uses sedated colonoscopy for comfort. Colorectal screening is generally recommended from age 45.
Will reports be in English?
Yes — reports and the doctor's summary are provided in English.
Can I book from overseas?
Yes. A short intake lets the coordinator build a plan around your age and history and return a quote within 24 hours.
