Coronary CT angiography (CCTA) — anatomic visualization of the coronary arteries to screen for or rule out significant coronary artery disease.
What's included (USD 200)
- Appointment booking at a partnered Grade-3A hospital with cardiac imaging capability
- Pre-scan check-in support and on-site coordination
- Full English-language report translation
Clinical use
CCTA visualizes coronary lumen anatomy and detects atherosclerotic plaque (calcified and non-calcified). Useful for evaluating chest pain with intermediate pre-test probability of coronary disease, or risk stratifying adults aged 40+ with cardiovascular risk factors. Requires IV iodine contrast; renal function check is performed before the scan.
Difference from coronary calcium (CAC) score
CCTA uses iodine contrast and shows the entire coronary artery anatomy (calcified + non-calcified plaque, lumen narrowing). CAC is non-contrast and shows only calcified plaque burden. CCTA is more comprehensive but with slightly higher radiation; CAC is faster and lower dose, used for asymptomatic risk stratification.
Turnaround
Most reports released 48–72 hours after scan. English translation typically adds 48–72 hours.
