- Full report translation (Chinese → English)
Body parts available
Head (MRI plain + DWI / MRA cerebral arteries) · Cervical spine (plain) · Thoracic spine · Lumbar spine · Pelvis (plain + DWI) · Upper abdomen (plain + DWI) · Lower abdomen (excl. pelvis) · Kidneys · Prostate (plain + DWI) · Bilateral hip / knee / ankle / shoulder · Cardiac and great vessels · Sinus / Nasopharynx / Pituitary · Bladder · And more.
If you need multiple body parts, add the quantity in cart — each unit covers one body part.
Hardware tier
Standard tier-3 hospital MRI scanners are 1.5T or 3T from Siemens / GE / Philips / United Imaging. Specify a preferred tesla strength at booking if your clinical question requires 3T (e.g., subtle MS lesions, prostate multiparametric, fine MSK).
Turnaround
Most reports are released 24–48 hours after scan. English translation typically adds 48-72 hours.
🩺 Before Your Scan — Preparation Instructions
- This add-on is a plain (non-contrast) MRI by default — no fasting needed.
- Metal & safety screening (critical): tell us before booking if you have a pacemaker or defibrillator, cochlear implant, aneurysm clips, metal implants/prostheses, or metal fragments in the body. Remove all metal on the day; contact-lens wearers should bring regular glasses. Tell us if you are claustrophobic or may be pregnant.
- If an enhanced (contrast) MRI is needed, we will confirm: it uses gadolinium contrast (provided by the hospital, included in your package), and we will check for any allergy or kidney problems (a recent creatinine/eGFR test may be required). Some abdominal or sedated scans also need ~4 hours fasting — we’ll tell you.
These are general guidelines. Your SinoCareLink coordinator will confirm the exact instructions for your appointment based on your health profile and the hospital’s requirements. Any contrast dye needed is provided by the hospital and included in your package.
