The Dentium implant + Aidite crown package in Beijing is $999 — implant, abutment and crown included; extraction, complex bone grafting, periodontal treatment, a temporary crown and pre-surgical blood work are quoted separately after your in-clinic exam. Treatment runs 1–4 visits over about 4 months.
Is the Dentium dental implant safe and high-quality?
This package uses a Korean Dentium SuperLine implant. Treatment is at a licensed Taikang Bybo Dental (泰康拜博口腔) clinic in Beijing, and every Dentium fixture is verified by serial number against the manufacturer's database, so you know it is a genuine imported product. Like any surgery, implant placement carries risks; the dentist goes through them with you before you consent.
What does the Dentium implant package include?
The $999 package includes: comprehensive oral exam (clinical + panoramic X-ray + CBCT 3D imaging), personalized treatment plan, professional pre-surgery cleaning, local anesthesia, Dentium implant fixture placement (typically 60-90 minutes), abutment placement at month 3, custom Aidite crown fitting at month 4, post-op review, and SinoCareLink coordination in English throughout (an English-speaking companion at the clinic is not included).
Are the dentists placing my Dentium implant fully qualified?
All implant placements are performed by licensed dentists at our partner clinic in Beijing (Taikang Bybo Dental). If you would like the treating dentist's licence details, ask us before you book and we will request them from the clinic.
Will I get English-language support during my implant treatment?
SinoCareLink handles your booking in English, translates your treatment plan, consent form and post-op report, and sends remote check-in messages during the 3-month osseointegration period. An English-speaking companion at the clinic is not included: some clinics offer free English support, and a companion can be added for US$100 per half day.
How long is the full Dentium implant treatment in China?
The standardized pathway runs ~4 months: Visit 1 (Day 1) is the implant placement under local anesthesia. Months 1-3 is osseointegration at home (with remote SinoCareLink check-ins). Visit 2 at month 3-4 places the abutment and takes a digital scan; Visit 3 fits the permanent Aidite crown. Some patients consolidate Visits 2-3 into one longer trip, completing the program in 1-3 visits total.
Is the Dentium implant the right choice for my case?
Which implant suits you depends on your bone and your medical history. The Aidite crown is a zirconia crown commonly used for back teeth, where chewing strength matters more than maximum translucency. Final suitability is confirmed by the dentist after your in-clinic CBCT scan — if your case requires complex bone grafting, sinus lift, or a different brand profile, we will transparently quote any add-ons in writing before treatment proceeds.
Is the dental implant placement painful?
The fixture is placed under local anaesthesia, and the procedure usually takes 60–90 minutes. You are given written aftercare instructions in English before you leave the clinic, and your dentist goes through pain management and when to contact us. How much discomfort you feel afterwards varies from person to person — the dentist will go through what to expect for your case before you consent.
Can I do Visit 1 under China's 240-hour visa-free transit?
Only if both your passport and your route qualify. The 240-hour visa-free transit is open to ordinary passport holders from 57 countries, including the US and the UK, and only when you are travelling on to a third country or region with a confirmed onward ticket (for example, United States → China → Japan); flying back to the country you came from does not qualify. You enter through a designated port and stay within the permitted areas. If you qualify, Visit 1 — the exam and implant placement, typically 60–90 minutes, plus a few days of initial recovery — fits within the 240 hours. Some nationalities, including British citizens, can instead use China's 30-day visa-free entry — this scheme currently has an end date, so check it still covers Visits 2 and 3. US passport holders are not on that list; other passports may be covered by a separate agreement or need a visa — see your country in our China visa guide. Visits 2 and 3 are separate trips, each needing its own valid entry. Confirm with the Chinese embassy or consulate before you book.
What support do I get after the implant placement?
