How SinoCareLink content is produced
New content published on this site goes through a fixed production pipeline before publication; existing pages are brought up to the same standard as they are reviewed and updated. This page describes that process — it is the same standard we apply to every page, including this one. Last updated: July 2026.
1. Topic selection and duplication control
New topics come from real questions international patients ask us — via intake forms and WhatsApp — and from search-demand data. Before any new page is written, an automated duplication gate checks it against every published page on this site, so each topic has exactly one canonical page rather than several thin variants.
2. Sourcing rules
Factual claims follow a hierarchy: manufacturer and official published information for product facts; public price schedules and published 2026 price guides for market pricing outside China; and our own written, itemised quotes for China-side pricing — labelled "indicative" wherever a figure varies by case. Advertised prices from third parties are always labelled as advertised. Where evidence is limited, the article says so rather than overstating.
3. Two-pass review before publication
Drafts are reviewed before publication in two separate passes, each independent of the original drafter: an editorial review for accuracy, structure and search intent, and a second in-house compliance review benchmarked against the UK CAP Code (ASA), Australia's TGA advertising rules and US FTC guidance — these are the standards we hold ourselves to; no regulator certifies or endorses us. Both passes combine automated checks with editorial oversight, covering substantiation of comparative claims and removal of absolute treatment promises. Findings from both reviews must be resolved before a page goes live.
4. Honesty rules we enforce on ourselves
- Limitations and downsides are stated in the body of the page, not hidden — our editorial standard requires every treatment guide to state limitations and who a treatment is not right for; pages that predate this standard are updated as they come up for review.
- No fabricated reviews, case results or testimonials; patient case material appears only with written consent.
- No absolute outcome promises. Clinical results are described with the variability they actually have, and final treatment plans are always confirmed by the treating clinician in person.
- Real timelines. We publish realistic treatment and report turnaround times, not best-case marketing numbers.
5. Updates and corrections
Our guides carry the year they were last substantively verified (2026 in current titles). Prices carry the year they were last verified and are re-checked whenever a page is substantively updated; if we learn a published figure is out of date, we correct it. Factual errors are corrected in place promptly. If you spot an error, email info@sinocarelink.org — corrections are welcome.
6. What this content is — and is not
Our guides are general information to help you plan and compare. They are not medical advice, and no page on this site replaces an examination by a qualified clinician. Where we arrange treatment, the treating hospital or clinic — not SinoCareLink — makes all clinical decisions.
