Is coronary CTA safe? How much radiation does it involve?
Modern high-definition coronary CTA uses dose-modulation technology that keeps effective radiation exposure to approximately 3–5 mSv — roughly equivalent to 1–2 years of natural background radiation. I take a beta-blocker for hypertension. Does that affect the scan?
