What's included

  • Appointment booking at a partnered Grade-3A hospital
  • Pre-scan check-in support and on-site coordination
  • Full English-language report translation

Clinical use

Mammography is the standard imaging modality for routine breast cancer screening in adults of average risk. For women with dense breast tissue (common in younger or East Asian women), it is often paired with a high-frequency breast ultrasound for higher sensitivity. Discuss with your physician whether mammography, ultrasound, or both is appropriate.

Recommended frequency

USPSTF: every 2 years from age 50 to 74. ACOG: annual or biennial from age 40+. Earlier screening recommended for women with family history of breast cancer or BRCA carriers.

Turnaround

Most reports released 24–48 hours after exam. English translation typically adds 48-72 hours.

⚡ Need this within 3 days? Short-notice appointments require priority coordination. Add our Urgent / Expedited Booking service (+US$100) for any appointment needed within 3 days. If we ultimately cannot secure your slot in time, US$50 is kept as a coordination fee and US$50 is refunded.

🩺 Before Your Scan — Preparation Instructions
  • No fasting — eat and drink normally. No contrast, no kidney-function test.
  • Timing: if you still menstruate, the best time is about one week after your period starts, when the breasts are less tender — let us know and we can time your appointment.
  • Day of the exam: do not use deodorant, antiperspirant, powder, lotion, or perfume on your chest or underarms (they can look like false spots). Wear a two-piece outfit.
  • Tell us in advance if you have breast implants, are breastfeeding, or may be pregnant.

These are general guidelines. Your SinoCareLink coordinator will confirm the exact instructions for your appointment based on your health profile and the hospital’s requirements. Any contrast dye needed is provided by the hospital and included in your package.
