- Full English-language report translation
Body parts available
Low-dose chest CT (LDCT — recommended for high-risk smokers) · Cervical spine · Head · Lumbar spine · Upper abdomen · Lower abdomen (excl. pelvis) · Pelvis · Bony pelvis · Sinus · Pharynx · Thyroid · Bilateral foot · Knee · Nasopharynx · Sacrococcygeal spine · Ear · Nasal bone.
If you need multiple body parts, add the quantity in cart — each unit covers one body part.
Radiation note
Low-dose CT (LDCT) for lung cancer screening delivers approximately 1.0–1.5 mSv — about half a year of natural background radiation. Standard diagnostic CT delivers 5–10 mSv depending on body part. Modern scanners with iterative reconstruction at our partnered hospitals minimize dose without compromising image quality.
Turnaround
Most reports released 24–48 hours after scan. English translation typically adds 48-72 hours.
🩺 Before Your Scan — Preparation Instructions
This add-on is a plain (non-contrast) CT by default: usually no fasting needed, remove all metal (zippers, jewelry), and no kidney-function test is required.
If your specific case needs an enhanced (contrast) CT, we will confirm the extra preparation with you: fast about 4 hours (plain water allowed). A recent creatinine / eGFR blood test is required before the scan (a report from the last 30 days is accepted). It is mandatory if you are over 60, or have diabetes, high blood pressure, heart failure, or kidney disease; others are advised to check too. If you take metformin, by hospital rule it must be stopped for 48 hours before and 48 hours after a contrast scan. Tell us about any iodine/contrast allergy, and drink plenty of water afterward.
These are general guidelines. Your SinoCareLink coordinator will confirm the exact instructions for your appointment based on your health profile and the hospital’s requirements. Any contrast dye needed is provided by the hospital and included in your package.
